#468: Easter Monday

Happy Easter weekend!

#467: How We Spent Last Easter

Switzerland #1

Last Easter, we traveled to the Jungfrau area of Switzerland to spend our four day weekend amongst the majestic Alps.

And since I never posted those photos…well here they are, one year later.

I wonder if it is once again the last ski weekend of the season, the gondolas crammed full of ski poles, goggles and boards. And I wonder if they will wake up to snow again in Lauterbrunnen on Sunday morning.

As is usual for all my travelogues, this is the first gallery in a series covering our time in Switzerland. More photos to come of Zurich, The Golden Pass Train Line, Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne, and many other views of die Schweiz.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Website Hacked

Hi,

I was informed last night that my website had been compromised. I’m not sure how or why I was targeted…but it happened. Google sent a message that www.hausfraufotografie.com had been infected with malware. Malware sends out malicious content and basically attacks people who surf to your site. So, Google noticed this, informed me, and began taking steps to keep this this from happening. Google is pretty cool.

Andy has already fixed the problem and informed Google. Once they review my site and deem it safe again, the malware warnings will disappear. This should happen by this afternoon.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I’m sorry if you went to my site and were redirected somewhere strange. I’m sorry to have to ask you to bear with me again, as we get the site back to normal.

I mean you no harm, I swear!

Thanks, Kassie

Anchor & Hope

Anchor & Hope is a somewhat new restaurant in San Francisco with a really distinct, interesting interior.

It reminds me of the heirloom/industrial/steampunk aesthetic that is creeping up all over at hip places like the Ace Hotel.

I took a few pics while having lunch there with my mom, a few weeks ago.

Hlaska

Last Friday evening I photographed the Women’s Collection VIP Preview Party for Hlaska at their Fillmore store.

And what a success it was!

The event was so crowded, I barely had room to maneuver and shoot photos.

Hlaska is a cool clothing and leather goods brand, based in the Bay Area.

Every single luxury piece is produced with great care and consideration, entirely within the United States. From materials to production to final product.

This is the antidote to fast fashion and must-be-made-in-china thinking.

If you like what you see, and you like the idea of luxury products that are actually made in the USA, head over to their site and check it out.
