i’ve just discovered the websites of two incredible food photographers who’ve given me one of those huge, much-needed, inspirational boosts. booth shoot food primarily, but also travel, people and spaces.
their styles are each unique, but equally compelling. and they’ve shown me, through their work, an entirely new level of quality that i will now strive to reach. i’m not there. not by any means. but, like in tennis, where it’s always better to play against someone better than you. i have some clear examples of people who’s work i truly, completely admire. not just half-heartedly, or some aspects of, but wholly.
