ok, i’ll tack MGMT onto my last post…as another cool band i’ve been enjoying lately. there’s been a bit of press on them, so maybe (being in germany and not the US) i’m late on the pick-up with this band, but if not…check ‘em out. unique sound. fun. a bit dance-y. catchy! but there are subtleties there that will grow on you. i dare you to listen to “Kids” and not find it stuck in your head all day.
it’s been a while since i last wrote. i had trouble uploading a photo yesterday…so my new post got squashed. :(
it was about the chocolate chips cookies i (finally!) managed to bake successfully here in deutschland. i took a picture. but i couldn’t get it to upload. and in the end i didn’t think the picture was all that great so i just gave up posting it.
but i am sitting in our living room waiting for the spain vs. russia euro cup game and listening to one of my new favorite bands: Fleet Foxes.
